My background
My background was in marketing and then teaching children, however, I’ve always been creative and have done a number of freelance creative projects.
I started weekly Pottery classes at Putney School of Art and Design fourteen years ago, which I still attend.
My jewellery is largely self-taught, and I’m always looking to learn new jewellery techniques to develop my style.
first sculptures
The first sculptures that I did were of my two English Setters and I enjoyed the process so much that I challenged myself to sculpt a variety of different breeds and before long I was approached to do my first dog sculpture commissions.
My ceramic leaf dishes have enabled me to discover the joy of exploring different ceramic finishing techniques using oxides, stains and glazes.
About Jasper
Jasper was my wonderful Tibetan Terrier, who was famously known as my Head of Marketing and co-founder of Suzie Jasper. He was the most tremendous company and loved everyone. Sadly, Jasper passed away in March 2021, and is very much missed.
About Rafa
My Tibetan Terrier puppy Rafa came into my life in December 2021 and it was love at first sight. He has a tremendous character and is quick to learn. He is my new Suzie Jasper Intern, and is already a highly valued member of the team.
