Archie

“After seeing the pictures of Suzie’s dog sculptures online, I had to see them in person. I went to one of Suzie’s Open Studios, and was blown away by the sculptures as they are so great at capturing the essence of the dog. Suzie is such a dog lover herself, and from seeing her beautiful sculptures of Jasper it was clear that her talent is fuelled by her love of dogs. I admit to being head over heels with my Cavalier Archie, and I thought this would be a great way for me to have a lasting memento of such a beautiful loving dog.

I have to admit that when I first saw the sculpture I cried with emotions of pleasure! Suzie had captured the essence of Archie in the piece and it really moved me. All dog owners know how their dog feels when you stroke them and as I felt the sculpture it felt like my boy – amazing.

Archie lies underneath my TV in the lounge and is a great talking point as the sculpture is considerably less noisy than the real Archie as he snores so loudly when he’s asleep!!
